THE UNHAPPY ICE CREAM

Jimmy the cone came home after the first day of school feeling depressed!

His friends had all got new toppings, extra scoops, sprinkles, or cherries over the summer but he had not!

"Mom, how do you get more toppings?" he asked.

She said, "Well, you just get them."

Jimmy replied, "I thought you can go out and buy them!!!!"

"No," said his mom. "They just come to you at night. Name some of the toppings you want."

"I'd like some chocolate, gum balls, sprinkles, more ice cream, and lots of cherries!!" he replied. "Just like the other kids."

That night, he dreamed that he had all the toppings in the world. He was so happy!!

Kids in his class said "WOW!!!!!! You have lots of toppings!"

Yet, when he was eating lunch, his toppings kept growing!! By the next day, he had so many that he couldn't get out of the door, so he had to stay home. It was a nightmare!

When he got up he said, "Mom, I like myself the way I am! No more toppings!!!"
